Sellstrom Red Hard Hat

Sellstrom Red Hard Hat

Discontinued—remaining stock only. Red hard hat with an adjustable ratchet suspension. The supplied Sellstrom instructions describe fitting the suspension to the wearer's head. Check the markings and instructions on your individual shell before use.

Manufacturer label and use

The photographed red shell carries a label referencing ANSI Z89.1-2003 and Type 1. This describes the marking on that shell; it is not a claim of independent testing or compliance with a newer edition.

• The manufacturer warning describes limited protection by reducing the force of small falling objects striking the top of the shell.
• Not designed to provide front, side or rear impact or penetration protection. Avoid contact with electrical wires.
• Read all warnings and instructions before use. Install and adjust the proper suspension, inspect regularly, and replace the shell or suspension after impact, wear, damage or discoloration.
• Do not alter the shell or suspension or apply adhesives or other chemicals. Clean as directed by the manufacturer's instructions.

A separate Sellstrom universal-slot adapter leaflet was supplied, but an adapter or other accessory is not stated to be included with this hat.
